The innovative cyclocross frame is comfortable, reliable and is designed for an amateur audience looking for a versatile bike suited for training or for a more professional use, as confirmed by Podium’s R & D department test bed. The “Solid Carbon” allows you to make the monocoque frame with no critical points in the block, giving it the appropriate structural rigidity, balanced by the vibration of the rear end designed to absorb and counter the imperfections of the road. The production takes place in the mould using three different types of carbon split into percentage calculations derived from computerized statistical behavior of the frame during off-road use: 80% of high-strength T-700SC carbon fibre, 15 % of “High Modulus” M30J 3K carbon weave, 5% of “High Strength” 60T carbon fibre, with a K12 carbon surface texture. The polymerization of the fibres takes place in an autoclave at high pressure with vacuum control for the duration of the thermal cycle.
