Hercules
Advanced production procedures gained through the years, united with an adventurous research tradition sustained by targeted investments, have guided the Podium Research and Development department to the creation of a frame that is conceptually innovative both in its form and its construction elements. The characteristic shapes of geometrically variable oversize tubing, rational use of rectangular sections, massively oversized housing of the bottom bracket, shaped rear stays and aerodynamically shaped integrated seatpost, unite perfectly with the material used: stratified HM (High Modulus) carbon fibre, diversified and oriented on the basis of the computerised analysis of acting and reacting forces that stress different areas of the frame. The determined lines and the aerodynamic profile of the new Hercules are preserved by the complete absence of external cables, which run throughout the tubing in a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) casing. This plastic polymer is not only capable of reducing the friction factor, but also it has a high resistance against the action of external agents, remaining chemically inert over time.
By achieving perfect symbiosis between shape and substance, the Hercules has an elevated structural efficiency, but also an aggressive aesthetic expression unequalled in the world of road bikes.
